Speak out Freedom

Born in Florida, and raised in New York City, my life in New York
City was very different from the life in Florida.  I grow up listening
To Malcolm X speaking about freedom, justice and equality to all
human  being. Malcolm spoke on Black man letting them know
without freedom that they were jeopardized and without
education they were not going anywhere in this world. Letting
them know not to make the same mistake of others. Dr Martin
Luther King wanted freedom.  I remember something Dr. King
said; darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that,
and the  speech that I like was I have a dream, and this has true
value and intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true
education his speeches.  Louis Farrakhan; said you must recognize
that the way to get the good out of your brother and your sister is not return evil for evil.

  1. I may have not grown up with Malcolm X or Martin Luther King but I was watching a documentary on MLK and it got me thinking. Freedom was given to the color people because MLK stood up to what he believed. What has stayed in my hand since yesterday was that MLK said in simple terms no matter what religion you were or are if it's wrong he will stand up with you and make it right!

  2. Martin Luther King didn't fight only for people of color but for equality for every human being. "Every man was born equal" didn't reflect what was really going on. Not only black people was unequally treated, but women and other minorities as well. He fought for "equality" for every one! But is there really equality today?
